Mixed-Use Project On the Horizon for Belterra Area

90 acres near 290 and Nutty Brown Road will be developed into a 275,000 square foot retail, office and residential project, the Austin Business Journal reports.
The development, adjacent to the Belterra master-planned community, will be a destination for the retail-starved area as well as residents of Dripping Springs.  Construction is slated to start early next year.
Endeavor Real Estate Group, who will be overseeing the project with Crescent Communities, has also developed The Domain and Southpark Meadows, both retail, office and residential projects.
Retail, medical office, high density residential, and hotel space are all proposed for the development.  In addition, it may include senior housing and entertainment venues.
The project is across the street from The Nutty Brown Cafe, which, along with its surrounding land, was recently purchased by HEB.  HEB said they have no plans to develop the land though and Nutty Brown can stay as long as they like.  Some anonymous real estate sources are reporting that Nutty Brown may become part of this new project.
